Hisar's expertise in surface hardening processes facilitates both single and multiple teeth hardening. Almost uniquely, Hisar is in possession of one of the very few “single shot” 750KW induction hardening units in existence. Of the 2 Numerically controlled induction hardening machines, one is a “single shot” immersion type device, the other is a “scanning” type 300KW device. Maximum suitable diameter for induction hardening is 2.500 mm. These very specialized devices enable hardness profiles to be precisely controlled to meet customer's individual specifications and so enabling the very best results to be achieved in the field of operation.
Surface hardness values of typically 52-55 HRc, up to 20mm depth, give Hisar sprockets, idlers and track shoes the longest possible wear life.
